The film follows Alita (played by Rosa Salazar via performance capture), a cyborg who is found in a scrapyard by Dr. Dyson Ido. As she regains her memories, she discovers she is a legendary warrior from a forgotten era, leading her into the high-stakes world of Motorball and a revolution against the floating city of Zalem.
