The Woman in Black is a period horror film set in 1881, in the small town of Crythin Gifford, England. The story revolves around Arthur Kipps (played by Daniel Radcliffe), a young lawyer who is sent to Crythin Gifford to settle the estate of a deceased client, Jennet Humfrye. Upon his arrival, Arthur encounters a vengeful spirit, known as the Woman in Black, who is believed to be the ghost of Jennet Humfrye.
