Recorded with new members, including Philippe Pache and Boris Daenen, the album saw Hooverphonic refining their sound, incorporating more organic instrumentation and jazz-influenced arrangements. The album's lead single, "Mad About You" (re-recorded for the album), received significant airplay, propelling the band into the mainstream.
