EVA foam is porous. Spray 3-4 layers of over the entire shell. Once dry (1 hour), paint it matte black or dark grey. Why black? If your red fabric mask stretches over a black shell, the shadows look deeper and hide the seams.
It separates your breath from the eye lenses, preventing condensation.
Once taped, use a hot glue gun to permanently secure the seams, starting from the nose and working outwards.
