Open the ZTE Upgrade Tool as an Administrator.
To accept new firmware, the modem must be placed in Emergency Download (EDL) mode or a specific COM port state. Connect the modem to the PC.
A high-quality USB port (directly on the motherboard, avoid using external hubs).
