From 2015 to 2021, Doronin studied at the Gnessin Moscow Special School (College) of Music, first under – Honoured Arts Worker of the Russian Federation, Honoured Artist of Russia, and laureate of the Russian Federation President Award on art and literature – and later with Olga Martynova for harpsichord. In 2021, he moved to London as an ABRSM Scholar to begin his undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Music with Professor Dmitri Alexeev , a pianist of legendary stature. He graduated in 2025 with a First Class Bachelor of Music degree and is now pursuing a Master of Music degree, also under Alexeev’s guidance. He is a destination
