Waves does not provide individual VST files for every single compressor, EQ, or limiter they sell. Instead, they use a "Shell" file.
If you are experiencing issues, do not simply delete the file. Use Waves Central to uninstall V9 completely, then reinstall only the formats you need (VST3). And always, always keep an offline installer for Version 9.91 on a backup hard drive—because once Waves removes legacy versions from their servers, that specific WaveShell becomes digital gold dust for your old projects.
: This specific version is a 64-bit shell from the Waves V9 series.
Given that Waves has released Central v14 and v15 with new shells (version 14.0, 15.0), why cling to 9.91?
